- Old rewireable and plastic boards swapped for metal RCBO units
- Usually a single-day job with minimal disruption
- Installation certificate supplied for your records
Your fuse board is the heart of the electrics, and if yours still has rewireable fuses with bits of wire in them, or a plastic enclosure with no RCD, it’s well past its day. Since the 18th Edition came in, new boards are metal-clad with RCBOs on each circuit, so a fault on the upstairs lights doesn’t plunge the whole house into darkness.
We replace consumer units right across Merseyside and Cheshire, from Haydock and Golborne to Liverpool and Warrington. It’s normally a one-day job: we isolate the supply, fit the new unit, test every circuit and label it all up properly. Where we find borrowed neutrals or dodgy old wiring hiding behind the board, we’ll tell you straight and quote any remedial work before we touch it.
You’ll get an Electrical Installation Certificate on completion. Ring us and we’ll give you a fixed price up front.
